½ cup of red millet flour
¼ cup finely chopped coriander
½ cup of whole wheat flour
2 tablespoon low-fat curd
1 teaspoon oil
a teaspoon of ginger-green chili paste
teaspoon of garlic paste
½ teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
salt

4. Baked Chaklis

Also known as murukku, a well-loved snack from Maharashtra and the southern region of the country is deep-fried or baked. The baked version is favoured nowadays as it’s healthier. As a result of that, the baked chaklis is a wonderful pick from a list of Indian dry snacks.

Ingredients:

1 cup rice flour
½ low-fat curd
2 tsp. sesame seeds
1 tsp. chili powder
a pinch of asafetida, optional
salt to taste
1 tsp oil

5. Baked Papdi

Papdi is healthy so it should always be available at home or work. Do you get hungry in between meals, for instance? Then reach for a packet of baked papdi! 1 cup plain flour
½ tsp. crushed cumin seeds

salt to taste
